Council disclosure log lists our responses to requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 which we feel are of wider public interest. Wigan Council has commenced publishing all Freedom of Information requests that it responds to. This includes the content of the original request, what it was about and our response (personal data redacted). The Council currently receives over 1000 FOI requests a year.
