This enables you to:
- Detail the actions taken to make required improvements specified in the inspection letter
- Explain mitigating circumstances at the time of the inspection.
The 'right to reply' is NOT for making complaints or criticising the scheme / food safety officer.
Your comments will be reviewed by the food safety officer and may be edited to remove offensive or defamatory remarks before being published online with your food hygiene rating on the Food Standards Agency website (external link). This will include a statement highlighting that the accuracy of your comments has not been verified by local authority officers.
