Back to Sport sessions are geared towards people who enjoy the buzz of keeping fit and socialising with likeminded people. All you have to do is turn up and have fun!
If you're looking to join a sport to lose weight, we offer a range of sport programmes specifically targeted at losing weight.
What we offer
We offer a range of sessions hosted at venues across Wigan and Leigh designed to help you get fit and have fun - whatever your age or ability.
Sports include netball, badminton, basketball and football.
Equipment is provided at all sessions, but you are welcome to bring your own. Sports clothing should be worn with training shoes. All jewellery will need to be removed prior to starting the session.

I’ve never played these sports before
All Back to Sport sessions are ideal for beginners through to intermediates. The emphasis is on having fun and raising your level of fitness. Everyone is welcome!
Our Back to Sport coaches are qualified in a range of sports. They will be on hand to offer advice on rules and help to improve your skill level in any given sport.
Are Back to Sport sessions available to non-members?
Back to Sport sessions are available at a fee to non-members with a Lifestyle card. Everyone needs to pay for Back to Sport sessions taking place away from our leisure centres.
