Access for All

The Access for All document shows the main requirements which all development proposals must meet. Further support can be found on the planning guidance page.

Building design and construction must be in line with Building Regulations – and Part M of these regulations sets the minimum legal standards for access and use of new buildings, extensions and alterations to existing buildings, and certain buildings which have had a change of use. Meeting the requirements of Part M may affect the size and design of a proposal and it is important this is taken into account at the early design stages.
