If you're looking to develop and provide specialist or supported housing, please fill in the form below and our Specialist Housing Panel will review the proposal.
We may be able to provide you support with:
- Commissioning care / supported living teams
- Council nomination agreements
- Housing Benefits exempt rents status requests
- Advice, expertise and steering on strategic need and expected standards.
As part of your application, you will need to send the following to housingstrategy@wigan.gov.uk:
- Development schedule, specification, and design standards proposed, including the number and type of units proposed with a detailed specification for those units
- Please clearly indicate in your email the scheme this information relates to.
