Access for people with disabilities

Sometimes it’s not easy to get to all the places that you want to visit, particularly if you have disabilities or you experience other problems that make it difficult to get out and about.


If you want to plan ahead, the DisabledGo (external link) website provides information about easy access to a whole range of venues throughout the country.

The information has been collected by visiting venues in person with the full involvement of local disabled people.

RADAR National Key Scheme

The RADAR National Key Scheme (NKS) allows disabled people to access around 7,000 locked public toilets around the country. Facilities can be found in shopping centres, country parks, railway and bus stations, bars, motorway service areas and sports venues.
