Booking and paying for your wedding ceremony

Once you have selected a venue, you need to provisionally book your date and time online.

Bookings can be made up to 2 years in advance and there is a non-refundable booking fee payable. The booking fee confirms the date, time and place of your ceremony.

Once confirmed, you will be given details of when you must give your notice of marriage and how to make final payments.

Paying for your ceremony

The ceremony fee includes the statutory fee for one certificate. All payments are made by credit or debit card.

All ceremony fees are payable no later than 3 months before the ceremony date.

Any bookings made within 3 months or less of the ceremony date must be paid in full on time of booking.

In the event the ceremony fee is not paid by the due date, a late payment fee of £25 will be added to the booking. You will receive an email reminder within 1 month before your final payment date is due.

Please be aware that fees are subject to change on the 1st April each year. To avoid this increase you may pay your fees prior to the 1st April.

See terms and conditions for cancellation of bookings.
