Apprenticeships allow you to earn a salary while you learn on the job and are fast becoming a popular form of recruitment in many industries.

As an apprentice you’ll have a proper job within a proper company, working alongside experienced members of staff, developing job-specific skills. At the same time you will also study towards nationally recognised qualifications, and time out of the workplace is given to complete this.

Apprenticeships can range from a Level 2 (intermediate apprenticeship) through to Level 4 and beyond (called higher level apprenticeships which are equivalent to a degree or above) so there’s scope to undertake an apprenticeship whatever the stage of your career.
