Wigan Council works in partnership with Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre to ensure we can offer you emotional and practical support and keep you up to date with the latest information and support for carers.
You can register yourself as a carer with our partners at Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre and they can provide you with a carers' emergency card (external link) and support you to register with your GP as a carer. When you register, you can also receive regular and up to date information, find out about local activities and events and find the support that is right for you.
