Robin Park Tennis Centre offers coaching, competition, fun camps and beginner and advanced classes for children. We have 4 indoor courts and 4 floodlit outdoor courts and are located behind Robin Retail Park, opposite the DW stadium.
We are committed to developing tennis in Wigan and surrounding areas, offering people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to try tennis and giving as many children as possible the chance to play this exciting sport.
What we offer for children
Expert coaching and lessons
Coaching from experienced, qualified coaches available for groups and private lessons. All ages and abilities are catered for (adults and children ages 3+).
Tennis fun camps for kids
9am - 3pm throughout the school holidays.
Suitable for ages 5-11.
Activities include games, mini tennis, competitions and prizes.
Tennis courses for ages 3-18 years
We offer a range of specialist tennis courses suitable for all abilities, including tots tennis, mini-red tennis, mini-orange tennis and full tennis.
Tots Tennis lessons
An introduction to tennis, fun activities and games based on the fundamental areas of balance, co-ordination, agility, movement and racquetball skills.

Mini-blue tennis
Kids improve their balance, agility and co-ordination through fun games while learning how to play the sport and getting to grips with the basics.

Mini-red tennis
Played on small courts with short rackets and soft low bouncing balls - a great way to develop co-ordination, movement and basic skills.

The game is bigger now. Still using low bouncing balls but using a proper court made shorter.

Mini-green tennis
This is the big one. It’s time for kids to play on full size courts. Now it’s all about growing their game by fine tuning and refining the techniques they’ve learned so far.
