Lost or damaged items - charges and payments
Any items loaned from the library service will incur charges if returned damaged or lost.
Further loans will not be permitted until the charges are paid in full or the item is replaced like for like. Please speak to a member of staff if you experience any difficulty with repayments.
The library service no longer takes cash payments. Payments for lost items must be made online through the Council's make a payment website.
Please select Miscellaneous then Libraries from the listed services. Select Replacement Charges from the drop down options and proceed to the payments page:
Details required are:
- Full Address
- Contact Name
- Library member number
- Amount to pay
- Card details for payment.

|Children's book reservation - This service is currently suspended
|Replacement library ticket
|Vocal score request fee per set
|Vocal score hire per set of 20
|Photocopy / Printing (A4 and A3 only) - Minimal essential copying or printing up to a maximum of 10 black and white or 5 colour copies per customer
Please note: The library service reserves the right to decline what we may deem non-essential and/or excessive printing requests.
