A child protection
conference is held when enquiries have shown that a child may have
suffered significant harm and gives the agencies involved the opportunity to discuss their concerns about the child and share
information.
At the end of the conference a decision will be made
as to whether or not the child needs a protection plan, and if further
reviews are needed.
