A business group called Leigh Central Forum has been designated as a Neighbourhood Forum in order to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for Leigh town centre.
The group was formally designated as a Neighbourhood Forum in April 2022 for a period of 5 years ending 21 April 2027.
No other organisation or body may be designated for that neighbourhood area until that designation expires or is withdrawn.
Current position
The Forum is now in the process of preparing the Neighbourhood Plan which will cover the Leigh Central Neighbourhood Area. The Plan will be subject to public consultation in due course.
