We are currently inviting stakeholders to submit site suggestions for new housing development for inclusion in the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.
If you would like to submit a site which you deem suitable for housing development, please fill in the Call for Sites form (external link) including a suitable map showing the boundary of the site.
We will give due consideration to all sites put forward. However, they will be assessed against planning policy and other relevant considerations. Submitting details of a particular site does not guarantee that the Council will support or allocate the site for development.
Whilst online submissions are preferable, you can also submit sites by email to planningpolicy@wigan.gov.uk or by post to the address below. If submitting site suggestions by email or post, please remember to include a detailed location plan with the site boundary clearly marked.
