Business rates

A full range of business support measures have been made available to UK businesses and employees - find out the latest information from the government (external link).

The Discretionary Business Grant Fund is now open for applications for a two-week period until 16th June 2020 - find out if you qualify for the funding and how to apply.

If you have been identified as qualifying for the Small Business Rates/Retail Grant, you will have been written to or emailed directly and provided with details on how to claim it.

Any businesses that qualify for the expanded retail or nursery reliefs, will be provided with a revised bill as soon as your accounts are updated. If your business is retail, hospitality or nursery, your account for the financial year coming up 2020/21 will be on hold at present.
