Having problems paying?

Payment arrangement offer

If you are finding it difficult to pay your business rates please contact us straight away.

We will do our best to try and resolve the problem with you. If you try to ignore the situation it will only get worse.

If you have received a letter from an enforcement agent, you must contact them directly to arrange payment.

If you have received a notice from Wigan Council you must make arrangements with us to bring your account up to date (we need some offer of payment so that further action can be avoided).

Please tell us how you intend to bring your account up to date by filling in the form below.

  • What notice have you received
  • Further action if no payment or payment arrangement agreed
To stop further action being taken you need to pay the balance due as stated on the notice/summons. If you do not pay on time the notice/summons will tell you what action we could take next.
