Museum loans are very popular and are a great way to explore ‘hands on’ learning within the classroom.
We stock items of local, national and international significance, with many items being genuine historical artefacts.
The brilliance of museum loans is that they can be applied to more than just history topics as we also boast a large collection of biological and geological specimens.
Each museum loan consists of six items on your chosen subject that will help you explore the topic with your pupils. Alongside the artefacts and specimens we provide replica models, posters, charts, slides and cassettes, all of which help reinforce the learning process.
How to request museum loans
With over 2,000 items in our collection, the catalogue is not an exhaustive list. If there is a topic or subject not covered we may still be able to provide you with a loan. Just ask!
