Early Intervention - Children's Services

The Early Intervention service supports both adults and children with disabilities and their families. For children, the Early Intervention service provide:

  • Specialist assessment and help to enable and maximise the potential for children and their families to engage in their daily living activities.
  • A planned, integrated approach to reach goals and priorities as part of a child’s overall care and needs assessment.
  • Work with the child, family, and other key professionals in the child’s life to identify areas where a child’s function, participation and independence in the home and the community can be improved by the provision of specialist equipment and or adaptation.
