How to get direct payments

If you don't currently get a service from us but you feel you need support, you will need a social care assessment. Please contact 01942 828777 to request an adult assessment or 01942 828300 for a children’s assessment, or visit Family Hubs for more information and support.   

Alternatively, for adults, you can contact the Central Duty Team online by completing the form.

If you already receive care and support, please contact your allocated social care worker.

Where a person in need of care and support does not have the mental capacity to request a direct payment, someone else, such as a family member, can request a direct payment on their behalf. If agreed, this person becomes the authorised person.
