If you are a council housing tenant, we can provide advice and treatment if you have a problem with insects or vermin. We will visit you and carry out a full assessment, followed by treatment to eradicate your pest problem.

Book a pest control treatment
We carry out treatments by appointment only.
The Pest Control Officer can arrive at any time between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Please ensure an adult is present at the property and that the relevant preparatory work has taken place.
You will need to provide your rent reference number when booking the appointment.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking upon successful submission.
What pests do we treat?

- Biscuit Beetle also known as the Bread Beetle

- Carpet Beetle and larvae (woolly bears)

We do not provide treatments for bees. If we visit your property and identify that the pests are bees there will be no refunds.
There are other pests that we do not treat but provide guidance for.
Fees
We no longer offer a pest control service to private tenants, landlords, or homeowners.
Wigan Council Housing tenants have the cost for all pest control treatment covered within their rent charges. Your rent reference number will be required to complete a booking.
Additional visits
If your treatment requires more than one visit to complete the treatment, the operative will book this in for you when visiting your property. If you wish to change the date please complete the Change/Cancel online form.
