Six site allocation assessment reports have been prepared, each one relating directly to one of the six site allocations proposed in the Publication version of the Wigan Borough Local Plan.
The site allocation assessment reports (SAAR) summarise the evidence used to support each site allocation and highlight the key points showing that the site is suitable, justified, deliverable and effective, in line with national and strategic planning policies.
The six reports need to be read alongside the seven topic papers and the self-assessment toolkit reports. For more detailed information reference should be made to the source reports and studies.
