We are preparing a new Local Plan for Wigan Borough to 2040.
Consultation took place on the Options and Preferences for our Local Plan and associated Map Book from 24 October - 18 December 2023. All comments received are currently being reviewed by the Council and will inform an initial draft of the Local Plan which will be consulted on in summer 2024.
