New pay and display machines have been installed on the majority of Wigan Council car parks and on-street locations. These machines do not accept payment by cash, however you are able to pay by card or by phone. It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure they are able to pay by one of the available methods when wishing to use the pay and display facilities. The locations which still accept cash payment using coins are Water Street and Mona Street car parks in Wigan and Spinning Gate car park in Leigh.
