Home contents insurance for council tenants is provided and administered by Ecclesiastical. The insurance protects the belongings in your home, including items kept in your garage or shed. This covers things such as clothes, televisions, furniture, gadgets and garden tools. If your belongings are stolen or damaged by vandalism, water leaks, flooding, storms or fire, you can make a claim.
There is no excess to pay.
You must be a council tenant to apply for this insurance scheme. If you apply and you are not a council tenant, your application will be refused.
