Wigan Family Hubs are pleased to be working with Dentaid The Dental Charity to bring a free mobile dental service to communities across Wigan from February 2027.
The mobile dental unit will visit Family Hub locations across the borough, making it easier for local families to receive support closer to home.
Services will be delivered by qualified dental professionals in a safe, welcoming and fully equipped mobile clinic.
What the service offers:
- Free dental check-ups
- Basic dental treatments
- Oral health education and advice
- Support for children and families
- Information on maintaining good oral health at home
Families will also have the opportunity to learn more about healthy eating, toothbrushing routines and how to prevent tooth decay, helping children get the best start in life.
