The UK Youth Parliament represents young people from Wigan and Leigh at a national level. If you want to change something that affects young people nationally, you can speak to your members of the Youth Parliament.
Your current Members of the Youth Parliament are Tom Kenning, 17, from Bryn and Keegan Moran, 14, from Leigh. The elections for youth parliament members are held every two years and the next ones will be in December and January 2017/18.
Young people from Wigan and Leigh will get the chance to vote for who you want to represent you at the UK Youth Parliament (as long as your school or college is taking part).
Watch the video to find out who the candidates are this year and what they plan to do for you if they are elected:
Successful candidates will be announced on 27th February 2018.
