Lose weight and get fit with weekly dance sessions and nutritional advice

Our Latin Dance classes are a fun way to improve your fitness - whatever your age or ability.

You'll enjoy easy-to-follow steps combined with upbeat, recognisable music to increase your heart rate and get you singing along.

Work up a sweat with the salsa, challenge yourself with the cha cha and get rhythmic with the rumba with the help of our professionally-trained dance instructors.

Getting involved

If you live in Wigan Borough, are aged 18+ and have a Body Mass Index (BMI) score of 25 or above, you can get 12 weeks of free Latin Dance sessions to kickstart your personal fitness journey.

Classes are delivered on a weekly basis from a number of venues across the borough.

  • • Weight management services are delivered by Wigan Council, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a range of partners on behalf of Wigan Council for the specific purpose of providing you with weight management support. To access the service we need to send any relevant details that you have supplied us on this form to the provider and on occasion may need to share them with your GP and other weight management service providers to ensure constant service improvement.
