TechMate Tea Parties
TechMate Tea Parties are warm, welcoming drop-in sessions where you can enjoy a brew while getting friendly help with everyday technology. There is no pressure and no complicated jargon, just patient support from our brilliant TechMate volunteers. Whether you’re learning to use a smartphone, tablet, laptop or simply getting to grips with the internet, you can pop in, ask questions and build your digital confidence at your own pace.
These sessions are all about feeling comfortable, connecting with others in your community and discovering how technology can make life a little easier. Everyone is welcome, and no question is ever too small to ask.
At each session, you can:
- Enjoy a relaxed chat over tea or coffee
- Ask questions about your device or apps
- Get support with everyday digital tasks
- Meet other learners and volunteers
- Build your confidence in a friendly, judgement-free space
