3.59  All but two schools (Marsh Green Primary and Hindley High School) have completed a School Travel Plan.  This gives us an official completion rate of 99% for the Government's target of 100% by March 2010.  There are currently 68 business, church and residential Travel Plans listed on iTRACE (our travel planning management and monitoring software system).  The majority are developed through the planning application process, but some are voluntary.

3.60 The Leigh-Salford-Manchester Busway and Wigan Inner Relief Road have secured provisional funding from the Greater Manchester Transport Fund subject to satisfying the necessary planning, legal and business case requirements.  If these requirements are met both schemes are programmed  for completion in 2013 along with a further scheme at the Saddle junction.  Advanced works for the busway have been undertaken to facilitate delivery of the scheme.
