Adrian
Moakes' work often has a playful quality. Wigan Warp and Weft
is constructed from plate steel. It changes as you walk around
it, being tall elegant curves from some viewpoints and more
angular from others. The interweaving shapes, a reference to
Wigan's textile heritage, open out at the top to form a "W"
shape. |
