Bus service to Haigh Woodland Park

Every weekend from Saturday 31st July until Sunday 31st October the Haigh Woodland Wanderer Community Bus service will connect Wigan Bus Station to Haigh Woodland Park and back.

Organised and funded by a partnership - including Wigan Council, Transport for Greater Manchester, the Friends of Haigh group, Community Rail Network, South East Lancashire Community Rail Partnership and Finches - this bus service makes one of the region’s most popular tourist destinations even more accessible.

What days does the bus run?

The bus service will run each Saturday and Sunday and the bus times are the same on both days.

It will also be running August Bank Holiday (30 August) and each day of the Autumn half-term (25th to 29th October 2021).

How much is it?

Tickets are £1 for adults, 50p for children and all free concessions are honoured.
