Don’t get your fingers burnt this Autumn. Follow some simple advice and you can have fun, get involved in exciting activities, hang around with your mates… and still stay Safe4Autumn.

Sometimes what you may think of as harmless fun could upset other people, land you in trouble with your parents or the police,
or put you and your mates in danger.

So Safe4Autumn is about getting you to think about some of the consequences of the choices you make particularly around Halloween and Bonfire night. Think before you act, follow the guidelines for keeping safe particularly when handling fireworks. We want you to have fun but keep safe, so consider going to an organized Bonfire it will be cheaper and much safer!

Did you know that the temperature just below the surface of water in canals, ponds, quarries etc could mean the difference between life or death – even on a hot day – its not cold – its freezing! – Its not worth it!
If you are caught drinking alcohol on the streets or in the parks by the Police or Youth Offending Team, your alcoholwill be confiscated and your night could be cut short. If you're involved in anti-social behaviour you could end up in further trouble and your parents will be contacted. And remember, if somebody buys alcohol for you, they could also be arrested.
