In
Wigan there is a tradition of rubbing the foot of Sir Frances Sharp
Powell's statue in Mesnes Park (13) and making
a wish. This element of interactivity was important to the children
who were involved in the design process of the maze. They hope that
"doing the Maze" might become a similar feature of everyday life in
Wigan. |
