Comments on our performance in 2006-07

The LA process for statutory assessment is regularly reviewed to ensure that assessments are completed within timescales. Those assessments which fall outside of the timescales are investigated to promote service improvement..  Targets are set to make improvements in performance year on year. This year 43a target has exceeded and a 100% performance has been achieved for the first time. The 43b target is a little more variable as this reflects all assessments including those where statutory exceptions have occured. As a result some delays are not easily managed as they are out of our control. However all cases are monitored and where improvement can be made these are implemented.
