When we compare our 2006-07 results with the latest results (2005-06) for other metropolitan councils, we are in the best 25%.

Performance in Wigan in 2006 was above the national average at 91.9% compared to 90.5%.
This is a positive indication of the emphasis all schools give to the achievement of all pupils.
