Comments on our performance in 2006-07

 

There was significant improvement in the Average Points Score (APS) at GCSE in 2006. This level of performance is ahead of LAA target for 2008. This indicator reflects all the achievement of all the pupils and is a very positive performance. This is also supported by the Contextual Value Added (CVA) measure, calculated by the DfES, which gives Wigan a figure of 1001.5.
