Performance in 2006-07

Our target was 30.00%

We achieved 20.69%

"Bigger is better" so we are worse than target.

When we compare our 2006-07 results with the latest results (2005-06) for other metropolitan authorities, we are in the mid range.

Performance is better than last year.

Comments on our performance 2006-07

We are still falling short of our target of those young people acheiving an accredited outcome, although this is improving. The main reasons are resource based. The delivery of accredited courses is expensive. As a Service we have also looked at the offer of accreditation routes that we offer. This year we have introduced AQA's, and further OCN Awards. We have also been succesful in attracting external funding for CBT Courses through NRSI. However, we still have more work to do in increasing the resources that we are able to deploy to improving performance in this area.
