3. Appointment of Director of Environmental Services: The Committee considered the only application received in respect of the post advertised for Director of Environmental Services and the Chief Executive reported that the applicant had been invited to attend for an interview.
The Committee here interviewed the candidate.
Resolved: Subject to the Chief Executive notifying every Member of the Executive of the name of the candidate (and any other relevant particulars) and the period within which any objection is to be made by the Executive Leader, and no objection being received, the Committee authorises the offer of the post of Director of Environmental Services to Mr. M.J. Kimber.
