We have a small number of telephone teams in operation and by December 2009 we will have brought a number of these together into one team. At the same time we are looking at other services that could be delivered by this team to try and make it easier for you to get an answer to a wide range of queries from one place, from one call.
Our plan over the next year is to create one “golden” number that you can use to access any Council service, with around 10 other numbers for the services that you contact most often. This will make it easier for you to find the right team, and will also mean that we can offer you a faster and more effective service when you do.
