    With effect from Friday 30th November, 2007 Wigan Council will no longer by dealing with concessionary bus permit applications. Anyone wishing to apply for a bus permit should go to their nearest Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Travel Shop. These are usually situated in the bus stations.
