A support and advice service for the over 55's who live in Tyldesley.
Adaptations to the Home
Occupational Therapists from the Department of Adult Services support people with physical disabilities. They offer advice about how to perform household tasks more easily and can arrange adaptations to the home. There is no charge for the advice that they provide.
Adult Abuse - Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
Every adult has the right to: live a life free from fear; be treated with dignity; have their choices respected; and not to be forced to do anything against their will.
Adult Learning Advice and Guidance
The Learning and Employment Service works with a range of community organisations to support a wide range of learning opportunities. The service also provides information, advice and guidance to anyone 14 and over, on any issue relating to learning and work.

The Adult Placement Service offers care, support and accommodation for adults who need help due to their age, illness or disability.

Alcohol and Drug Misuse - Adults
Substance misuse services in the borough are provided by the Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. They provide a range of services to people who misuse drugs and alcohol, and their families and friends.
