We have commissioned the Greater Manchester Transportation Unit (external link) to undertake this work, which is now substantially complete.
A broader Greater Manchester study is also being undertaken by the Transportation Unit on behalf of all ten Greater Manchester districts. This will identify the impacts of each district’s Local Development Framework Core Strategy, including cross-boundary impacts. This is scheduled to be completed in June 2009.
A more detailed analysis of the emerging Core Strategy (our Preferred Options) is likely to be commissioned later in 2009.
