Strategic Housing Study (Making Housing Count)

This study was commissioned by the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities in Autumn 2005. Its purpose was to develop a robust and comprehensive evidence base to inform the development of a coherent strategy for housing in the Manchester City Region (including Wigan Borough).

The commission, which began in December 2005, was managed by a consortium of research consultants led by ECOTEC. It produced a range of outputs that aim to inform, support and influence the development of policy at a local, regional and national level.
