As part of the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment update process for 2009, further site suggestions were welcomed between 10 December 2009 and 22 January 2010, following a Developer's Forum event led by the Council's Housing Strategy Team and Planning Officers.
Site suggestion exercises allow people the opportunity to propose potential sites for residential development.
The updated 2010 Assessment will have a base date of 31 March 2010. As part of this update, the Council held a Developer's Forum on 9 March 2010 and is inviting further site suggestions up to a closing date of 14 May 2010. If you would like to propose a site please use the site suggestion form (.pdf, 33kb).
Because of the success of the initial exercise we have decided that the site suggestions will continue and will be ongoing throughout the Local Development Framework process. But please remember, that in the spirit of the new planning system, the sooner you provide information the better.
