As such we have to be confident that it is the right strategy for Wigan Borough, backed up by the evidence base, a sustainability appraisal and community and stakeholder involvement.
The consultation on our Published Core Strategy is scheduled to take place in September and October 2010. It will follow on from the Preferred Options stage that we consulted on in the summer of 2009. We have produced an interim draft report (.pdf, 868Kb) on these consultations that we will complete and publish alongside the publication version of the core strategy.
