Our Contractors Registration Scheme requires contractors to carry out all Housing Assistance work in strict accordance with a detailed Master Specification. This helps to ensure that good building practice is followed and that the materials used and methods applied lead to a good standard of work. An ongoing evaluation system is in operation and any contractor who fails to maintain standards is firstly warned and then removed from the list.
