Harassment and Illegal Eviction

This page gives you details of your rights and what to do should your landlord evict you or try to force you to leave your home without complying with the proper legal process

Sometimes private landlords put pressure on tenants to leave properties.  Some may even use physical force.  Landlords must follow the proper legal procedure to remove tenants from their property.  If they try to put pressure on you to leave the property without following the proper legal process, either forcibly or through harassment they are committing a criminal offence.
