Council Housing - New Homes
Wigan Council has built over 100 new council homes in a number of locations in the borough. The homes are being developed in partnership with Wigan and Leigh Housing (external link) and have been supported by the Homes and Communities Agency (external link) the national housing and regeneration agency for England.
The Council and Wigan and Leigh Housing have recently secured further funding from the Homes and Communities Agency to build 70 further homes between 2012 and 2015. Further details of these developments will be available at a later date.
