Residential service

The Brookfield building has been converted into a number of self-contained flats.
Kitchen and bedroom

All bedrooms are single, and all of the flats have their own fully equipped kitchens.  The majority are single occupancy, but a couple of them can accommodate two people - each of these flats has shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Residents are expected to take responsibility for their own care whilst staying at Brookfield.  Staff support and encourage them to implement their 'Individual Progress Plan'.  They also help them with all aspects of their rehabilitation (this includes their psycho-social needs).

A link worker system operates, and each resident has his or her own link worker from amongst the staff team.  The nominated link worker will support and meet with the resident on a regular basis to review their progress plan and help them to decide on the skills they would like to develop.  This can include areas such as budgeting, shopping, cooking and fitness training.
