Hospital Discharge Grant

Hospital Discharge Grant is available for urgent essential works to make a home free from Category 1 Hazards under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).

To be eligible, the applicant must be in receipt of certain income-related benefits and be ready to be discharged from hospital but cannot do so because of the condition of their home.

Assistance is in the form of a one-off grant of up to £2,000.
